The Meri Meri story began in 1985, when Meredithe Stuart-Smith, the brand's founder, equipped with a pair of scissors, a few pens and a handful of glitter, created her first handmade cards.

Named after her childhood nickname, Meri Meri , Meredithe first sold her glittering wares in local stationery stores in Los Angeles before heading to the National Stationery Show in New York in 1987, where the Meri Meri journey really took off. Currently based in Cheltenham, UK, Meri Meri collections are created by a dedicated and creative team of twenty designers and artists. With a little imagination, a touch of glitter, and a whole lot of charm, Meri Meri creates collections of fantastic party supplies, stationery, and decorative wonders, from party hats and birthday candles to plates and garlands.
