About Camp Snap

Camp Snap was born from a longing for summer camp. Brian and Melanie, former attendees of summer camps in Toronto, now live in Hermosa Beach, California, and send their two sons to camp in Canada for four weeks every year. After several years of using disposable cameras and ending up with only a handful of good photos, they realized there had to be a better way, but a digital camera for kids without a screen simply didn't exist. That's how the idea for Camp Snap was born.

Camp Snap cameras help you be here and now: no screen, no notifications, no settings—just point and shoot. They can be used and recharged over and over again, offering the joy of a disposable camera without the unnecessary waste. Over 500,000 cameras have already been sold, and the brand has been featured in publications including The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Wired, and The Verge.
